from the Detroit Free Press
Kay Savage was the longtime Detroit Free Press food writer and expert. She started with the paper in 1945 and spent several decades providing recipes, offering cooking tips and answering questions that readers of her "Tower Kitchen Recipe Box" put before her.
Though a renown food critic who won many national awards she normally offered up recipes provided by food companies whose large staffs of dietitians tested and perfected them for public sharing. Savage taste tested many of the recipes but with only one assistant she didn't have the resources to sample each dish.
This booklet was a free insert provided by the paper and though you can find it online for sale this is probably the only place where it's available in its entirety for free public perusal. Cook away.
