Not only did Schoolboy Rowe's good advice propel Chester Mitchell, a hurler for his high school squad, to a shutout victory in his next outing, it also helped Chadsey win its first undisputed city championship. Since the dates of the paper clippings aren't disclosed, it's safe to assume that they were the same game.

No it's not safe to assume that it was the same game! According to another article that I unearthed, Mitchell not only pitched Chadsey through the championship game but every single league game during the championship season, including another preceding shutout in the playoffs.
